I just came in to take a break, mere minutes after you posted this. I think I must have sensed the presence of these exquisite buds! What a beautiful, beautiful photo! Thank you!
They would have been calling to you. Of course, I remember your weakness… or is it a strength?
Good question. I haven’t figured it out yet.
These are unusually perfect buds, I thought, with those feathery little sepals.
They are indeed! And most welcome in our current state of roiling imperfections!
Pretty.
I’m glad you liked it.
Exquisite!
The tiny buds hardly look real.
How beautiful is this one!
It certainly has poise. Those golden stamens really help!
This reminds me of our native dewberry blossoms. The flowers are pure white, but the buds often have a tinge of pink, and the combination’s as pleasing as yours is.
I imagine it was a rambler rose. It’s very curious how often the buds of a flower vary from the open bloom. More noticeable, perhaps with a white flower.
Just beautiful!
Thanks, Dawn.
Very beautiful
Thank you!
You’re welcome
Very lovely, and a perfect six 🙂 🙂
Thanks. This is a very innocent-looking rose.
Beautiful. Wonder how they smell like?
We’ll just have to imagine whatever scent we like best. Imaginary scents have no bounds!
Simply perfect!
Simple things are often best. 🙂
