You might claim this is just on the edge of too much – too bright, too packed, too flowery, if there is such a thing.
It’s the latest in my series of pictures for dreaming. You may need to rein in your imaginations to prevent your senses overloading, especially if you were thinking of adding in bees hovering and humming and birds flying overhead.
Shared for Cee’s Flower of the Day and Terri’s Sunday Stills, The Power of Fantastic Flowers. I’d already done my post for today, but when I saw Cee’s entry on her second blog, I had to join in. Hers is a fantasia – even more so if you can imagine that – and has a lovely message too.
Taken at RHS Harlow Carr last year.

Beautiful blooms, indeed.
Your sun glasses must have came in handy to filter out some of the dazzle. 🙂
Fantasia flowers of those classes made go out a get myself a pair of cheap sunglasses.
Do I sense a musical reference whizzing away over my head?
Nah. You sunglasses comment reminded me of the song.
Delightful!
Thanks, Lisa.
Fabulous, Susan, a layer cake indeed and just as sweet! Thank you for joining in with Sunday Stills today!
My pleasure. Thanks for hosting!
What a glorious display.
There’s not much being held back here.
This comes nowhere near “too much”! No, no hummingbirds or bees or anything else: just me. Maybe I’d allow a butterfly. I would want this all to myself in my dream. Thank you!
Well, I’m not sure how you’d ban bees, but you know best how your dreams play out! Meanwhile, I’m enjoying the idea of you running up and down enforcing your ban and issuing butterfly permits.
You’ve got it exactly!
If it’s ‘too’ anything – it’s simply too beautiful for words. Glorious!
Thanks, Catherine. You’re very sweet.
Thank you for brightening my day, Susan. 😍
My pleasure!
This just shouts “SPRING”
Yes, these are not shrinking violets!
Beautiful
I’m glad you liked it.
💖💚😊
Another lovely composition
The world was looking bright and beautiful that day.
Looks like full on spring there, we’re just starting!
These are from last year. Harlow Carr is out of bounds from where I live at the moment, but at least I have my memories.
Your description is as beautiful as the photo.
Thanks, Laurie.
