As lagniappe, in keeping with the fun spirit of the challenge, cheating on the colour a little (though kindly people might concede that some of those mother-in-law tongues are on the creamy side and that turquoise is a yellow shade of blue):

This dog’s face expresses how I am feeling, as I wait for our elected representatives to come up with a sensible way forward at this historic time… sooner rather than later would suit me.

I just read about the vote, and I understand why you would have that look. Goodness, what a time, and not just there. A bit of blue and yellow is exactly what we need at the moment.
It’s a pity I’m too old to wear my childhood Doctor Who viewing hat (a woollen balaclava worn back to front during the scary bits) whenever the news comes on.
Brilliant! I cannot think of a better way to watch the news these days!
Nice! Love the last shot of the dog most of all. ❤️
That dog’s got style, I agree!
I like the look of this Smug guy. Time for a trip to Glasgow for all sorts of reasons.
It’s either that or hibernation.
Beautiful color combination! Boy oh boy, I can sure sympathize with the problems you are having across the pond with Brexit. Best to all of you!
Thanks, Laurie – we’re going to need it! And I with yours, by the way.
Thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful colours and the wonderful dog in truck photo!
Thank you, Ms. Liz!
Blue and yellow to me are sunshine and sky, everything beautiful. I’d like to have a sunny country kitchen decorated in blue and yellow. So sorry your leaders are exercising about as much “leadership” are ours in the U.S. are! Troubling times indeed.
I thanked Cee for cheering me up a little with the colour combination! Troubling times.
The Blue Tit street art is the pick for me.
It’s amazing how anyone can do that, to scale, on a wall.
I know that I couldn’t do it even though I was taught sign writing by someone who painted narrow boats.
That’s a handy skill.
I suppose it was. It must be over 30 years since I did any.
What an awesome set of photos–thanks for sharing!
I’m glad you liked them.
Nice combination. Like the Brazil football team colours!
Very true – I hadn’t thought of that!
Blue and yellow really do complement each other – I noticed some forget-me-nots already open in my garden yesterday!
That’s early, isn’t it?
A little over enthusiastic I would say 🙂
