As lagniappe, in keeping with the fun spirit of the challenge, cheating on the colour a little (though kindly people might concede that some of those mother-in-law tongues are on the creamy side and that turquoise is a yellow shade of blue):

This dog’s face expresses how I am feeling, as I wait for our elected representatives to come up with a sensible way forward at this historic time… sooner rather than later would suit me.

Susan, your photos are absolutely breathtaking this week. Thanks for playing along. ;D
My pleasure, Cee. Thanks for the cheery prompt!
So enjoyed this glimpse through your lens!
Thanks for letting me know!
So pretty!
Thank you!
Amazing photos!
Glad you liked them, Peter.
My absolute favourite colours so I love all your selections. I love your cheat, too. Completely acceptable.
The cheat seems to have been the most popular. 🙂
Terrific response Susan. Love the dogs face photo and the bird art
I’d never have thought of hanging a picture to face outwards to the street!
Super blue and yellow … the dog is a classic 🙂
Our first family dog, Meg, looked a bit like that, although without the worried expression.
