It’s amazing what you can see in Northern England.
I haven’t seen many as tall as this one. He seems designed to keep peregrine falcons from seeds rather than robins. 🙂
That’s hilarious! A grand gesture indeed. I can’t help wondering what those old stones think!
There looks to be a mix of old stones and new stones, doesn’t there – as if an older entrance has been reshaped.
Very interesting.
A daddy longlegs of the two-footed kind.
Oh, my word! May I share a link to this post on my blog on Monday?
Of course! I’d be very happy to be included. I’m glad you like it.
Thanks, Susan!
Oh I say. A Kettlewell fellow?
He is. I can just imagine what a spectacular show they’ll have once it is safe to restart. I bet there’s hardly a household that hasn’t been working on a new scarecrow or two.
I was about to ask where, but that could be a good guess from Margaret 🙂 🙂
Yes, he’s a Kettleweller.
🤣💕
Why I am suddenly hearing circus music? Could it be the Ringmaster?

Almost certainly – or your vivid imagination.
Wonderful
Thanks, Derrick.

He’s very smart to be outside in all weathers. Imagine having those wet trousers flapping around your legs!
