Immediately after posting this picture of Adam Frost filming on the CCLA garden at the RHS Chatsworth Flower Show in 2018, I discovered he features on the Virtual Chelsea Flower Show today.
I enjoyed the tour of his private garden, which is a work in progress, starting with a meadow area and ending with his kitchen garden and greenhouse. You can watch it here and learn a little about how a garden designer approaches a major project at home in England, transforming an existing landscape to meet his family’s needs.
Other highlights of Wednesday at Virtual Chelsea include a tour of Kazuyuki Ishihara’s Japanese garden, how to propagate achillea, care for irises and attract wildlife into your garden.
Fun top picture! I’ll be watching the video as I have lunch today.
It always amazes me how big and solid those mobile units are.
I really liked your second composition.
Thanks Derrick. The big camera crane was in the way for the first!
I watched the ‘pinata seed bomb’ making for the school gardeners yesterday and sent the link on to my daughter who is homeschooling while in lockdown. I will be looking at more tonight. Thanks for this post as well.
I haven’t seen that one – I’ll take a look!
Thank you for the link to the virtual tour of Adam Frost’s garden. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I’ll watch the others too.
They were supposed to announce the winner of the garden of the decade on Sunday but the BBC reveal show was cancelled because the daily briefing ran over. I can’t find it online either.
Getting this twice would be quite all right!
You’re kind as ever.
