I’m offering pastel-coloured roses as a sneak peak of the treasures on display at this week’s RHS Tatton Park Flower Show. They are part of Beth Shaw’s nostalgic, scented Market Flowers installation that celebrates British-grown flowers and foliage.
Shared for Cee’s Flower of the Day.

Wowsah! What a collection.
All pregnant with petals.
What a charming collection. Do they smell as good as they look?
I often do not consciously note the fragrance when I see a lot of flowers, although I’m sure that goes into the excitement mix. But the stand poster says, ‘with an emphasis on scented stems’, so some of them do, at least.
Beautiful
Thanks, Rupali.
How lovely! I can only imagine how beautifully scented they are.
It’s lovely to have the chance to wander round floristry marquees at the shows and scent is a part of that.
They do look good.
The acted like a magnet as you’ll imagine.
Tatton Park! What a joy that will be. These are sumptuous.
I actually preferred it to Hampton Court this year. Mind you, being closer to home helps.
😁👍
Looks so amazingly wonderful 🙂
Thank you
How gorgeous!
A floral treat.
Wow!!
Thanks!
Beautiful!
Why is it we so rarely dream of flowers… or is that just me?
Now you mention it I don’t recall doing so – but then, I don’t always remember my dreams!
I think I actually gasped when this hit my eye. The word “fulsome” leaps up. There isn’t a single color in this that doesn’t make me feel good — what a brilliant idea this was. Thanks for showing us!
They’re very harmonious together – it would be a pity to split them.
