Lovely in mid-life
Roses convert to stages we recognise from human lifetimes so well. You’re right, this is enjoying a ripe middle-age.
What a beauty, Susan! I managed to catch a glimpse of Chelsea and the roses via YouTube. Bliss!
It must have been a bit nerve-racking to get them flowering at their peak for the back end of the summer.
🤗🌹💛
Of course I had to look back. I think I remember gasping when I first saw the Desdemona bud. As for this rose, even the title — Ruffled Apricot Rose — is enough to make a gardener’s pulse quicken! A lovely start to my day — thank you!
My pleasure! I am glad you had buds stored in your memory to make up for my deficiency here.
