The other side of the M6 from where I grew up. Wilbraham was one of the houses in my secondary school.
I won’t have chance to get there this year, but I enjoy going to their snowdrop days. It’s an hour or so from where I live.
I’ve also remembered that there was a pub called the Wilbraham Arm’s in Nantwich, the town I went to secondary school in. There must have been Wilbraham family connections to the area.
A good display
Something for them to be proud of.
Quirky!
The parsnips are perhaps the quirkiest.
Love the way the onions and parsnip are displayed!
It’s not often we see autumn and spring combined.
A lovely photograph of hope
Perhaps even better, a blend of hope and achievement.
Yes! Even better indeed 😊
I’ve been out heaving snow around, and so this image is especially welcome. And fun — that’s a winning display of onions! Thanks for the warmth!
I suspect the onions are wannabe hyacinths. They don’t feel their destiny was the frying pan.
I think they have a long way to go before they become hyacinths, but we all have to have a dream. And we all want to avoid the frying pan!
I considered a quip about people with aubergine faces especially needing to avoid the frying pan but decided against it.
Very discreet of you. I will be chuckling for a while about what you didn’t quip.
