Just a quick post today. I’ve cropped two slightly different perspectives of the same passion flower, the first square, according to Becky’s instructions, and the second one, a portrait shape.

Square for me too, but guess that was inevitable with how my mind is working this month!
You could always rebel over here… it could be your safe space!
Hee hee, I might just do that!
Square! I think that the circular shapes of the different parts of the flower suits the square frame well. Lovely capture.
Thanks – I’m glad you liked it.
Yes, square too.
The square has swept the popular vote.
Definitely the square, to complement the roundness of the flower. That flower, if any flower was a pure representation of sex, that is it. (All flowers are all about sex, right? That’s their whole purpose.)
That’s what they tell us!
Wow! Lovely pics, square for me 😊
Passion flowers always have a slightly unreal look for me.
Definitely closer is better. 🙂
Closer is usually a bit more dramatic.
I like the top one better
That one seems to have been most popular.
They both look very similar and I have no preference at all (which is unusual for me).
Passionfruit flowers are complex shapes and compositions and always interesting to view.
There’s not much between them, I agree, but I almost always prefer a portrait shot of a flower, no matter what the flower.
Square for me. I get a greater sense of depth and like the contrast between the inner part and the petals. I also like the kaleidoscope sensation I get from it.
I know what you mean. If you look at it for too long, you half expect it to start spinning.
I prefer the square, I like the symmetry and the balance around the purple. And that drop of water that got included on the lower petal adds something.
It has something of the tear about it.
Beautiful image. I have shared; scheduled for Sunday; with appropriate attribution and link to your original post. Best Regards.
