Now it seems as though I’m seeing those pink water lilies everywhere — although not in any of our ponds. I suspect if I knew any local water gardeners, I’d have a better chance!
Those are lovely Susan
Wonderful Susan, Floral treats indeed! You got me so excited I have just tracked down some seeds of Lavatera trimestris ROSE MALLOW ‘Silvercup’ along with Rose FORGET ME NOT, Rose GYPSOPHILA and Frilled Rose CALIFORNIAN POPPY!
A lovely post-lunchtime treat. Thank you.
Gasp-worthy all!
I’m susceptible both to the beauty of the flowers and your photography
Wowsah! Just what I needed to see.
So beautiful
So pretty!
Gorgeous!!!
With all those to choose from, you couldn’t possibly limit yourself (or us) to one! There’s a scoop and a flow to the Lavatera that I love — not to mention those buds! But the rhododendrons, all papery and shell-like, really stopped me. And that bright blue insisting on being seen behind them — it seems to me I’ve seen that in a background before. That blue will NOT stay in a background! A lovely afternoon pause!
‘Chattahoochee’ what sort of a name is that?
It’s the name of a river with indigenous roots. I am always puzzled by the spellings, but I have grown to like the music of the sounds after travelling in the Southern States. Mind you, as you know, I have trouble with Fuchsia! 🙂
