With all those to choose from, you couldn’t possibly limit yourself (or us) to one! There’s a scoop and a flow to the Lavatera that I love — not to mention those buds! But the rhododendrons, all papery and shell-like, really stopped me. And that bright blue insisting on being seen behind them — it seems to me I’ve seen that in a background before. That blue will NOT stay in a background! A lovely afternoon pause!
‘Chattahoochee’ what sort of a name is that?
It’s the name of a river with indigenous roots. I am always puzzled by the spellings, but I have grown to like the music of the sounds after travelling in the Southern States. Mind you, as you know, I have trouble with Fuchsia! 🙂
How delightful. You are inspiring me.
It’s lovely to hear that.
Love the veining on that Geranium flower!
I believe it’s Geranium pratense ‘Mrs Kendall Clarke’ although looking a little more lavender than usual.
