Funnily enough, I’d been looking at the blog and thinking it needed a bit more red – not any more!

Very cheering as we leave summer behind. I have tried Erythrina crista-gaĺli from seed but never got it to bloom. Gorgeous flowers aren’t they?

They are – I don’t think I could every weary of looking at them. I wonder if it is the kind of plant that takes a very long time to flower? I only know of this one in Texas.
