Lol, that’s true! Maybe it is because the flowers are so open, but compared to the stalk they just seem large.

I usually look for flat light for flower pictures – a still, cloudy day is ideal – but some days you either take no pictures or you try to find a way to work with the light. The pictures where you are using directional light are often much more interesting than the flat ones – if they turn out at all!
