This seems to be a favourite from what I see at the flower shows.
Thankfully, with the advent of tissue cultivation, orchids are so much more accessible (and affordable).

Err… no! You’ve reminded me of reinventing ‘Peter Piper picked a peck of pinkish peaches’ the other day in order to celebrate some particularly luscious, scented ones from a farmers market.

Now you’ve made me see it in an entirely new light. Thank you! I would have said it was more of a Desperate Dan character before (it’s the chin).
And once again you have sent me on a mad dash to Google. Now I know about Desperate Dan and I will never see a P. orchid again in quite the same way as before.
