A beautiful garden! Words not needed.
If words were permitted, I’d have wanted to mention the bench. It’s a lovely finishing touch that pulls everything together.
I agree…the bench in the photo draws me into the picture for a rest.
My favorite color!
And a good choice.
Power indeed — what a contrast to the view from my windows these days! Thank you!
I’ve been trying to run this picture backwards in my mind to the winter. I imagine the overall effect is similar, although the climbing rose would have dropped its leaves.
This little corner of the world would be beautiful in all seasons, I think.
[J] A bit over-wrought for my taste – too contrived, but the colours go together wonerfully!
It’s a beautifully varied garden with lots of cottage garden tangle and voluptuousness as a counterpoise to the control. I was wondering whether it looks like this neat and tidy – or as green – in the winter. You can just make out the odd pink rose in the top right so this must have been July-ish.
Wollerton♥
I was thinking of you as I was posting it. I’ve not got the lines very straight – that’s never one of my strengths.
Beautiful … slight frustration about the wordlessness … until Marian’s comment. Thanks both.
Oops – luckily Marian stepped in! It’s one of her special English places. I did add the garden name in the tags, but they’re easy to miss on my theme.
Beautiful, and green never needs words to describe its beauty. 🙂
Perfect!
Is that ivy crawling up the building? Or some kind of bush?

It’s a climbing or rambling rose.
