Feast for the eyes.
I couldn’t keep quiet, these are beautiful! I really like those red ones.
I’m always delighted when I see Amaryllis growing outside. They’re an indoor plant in my part of the world. Luckily they’re very eye-catching, almost like little beacons, so it’s hard to miss them.
I’ve never seen them outside.
I wish your images had the names of the plants on them. I know many but the name of the rose would only be a guess. Graham Thomas? Beautiful and makes me look forward to next year! Hoping for a great garden next year!
If you click on any of the pictures you’ll be able to see the plant names and cultivar names where I know them for sure. The pure yellow rose you mentioned is Rosa ‘The Poet’s Wife’ (Auswhirl). There is a more lemony aspect to her colour than GT.
I must search for rainbows in my garden. Thanks for the inspiration. 🙂
Happy rainbow hunting!
The name perfectly fits in with the pictures! You have truly inspired me to go out in the cold and take some pictures of flowers as well. I love the concept and the colours of the flowers. You have brightened my day!
Better be careful – taking pictures of flowers can be addictive!
Haha, yes! I have drafted SO many blog posts featuring flowers after I was inspired by you. I might already be in too deep. 🙂
