    1. It’s a common garden plant that also grows wild on the rough stone walls of local parks. I like the rose-like shape of the fleshy leaves. They are normally green, but this one had great winter colours.

    1. I like them too. I once gave Mum a hydrangea one that I thought was lovely, but it turned out she wasn’t keen. It hadn’t occurred to me that not everyone might like wreaths.

    1. It was mid winter or just after. I don’t know what the recent snow did to them and will have to look next time I go past. Do I get a hint that you’re eager for spring?
