Who would deny him such a prize?!
He was very unwilling to leave it. I imagine he did some acrobatics in the trees having built up such a sugar buzz.
Oh, no, the dreaded plastic.
what i was thinking!!
It was slightly alarming to watch it, even though the squirrel does look cute. By the way, If I reply to Becky when she’s replied to Jude, do both of you get it? I’ve always wondered.
Well I’ve got it – but has Jude?!!
I imagine she got your comment, just not my reply to it. It’s good to know how it works. Thanks for being someone I could ask for help to find out!
It was a reply to her reply to this comment. I imagined it might reply to all, but clearly not. I have sometimes seemed to get replies directed to someone else too.
No I didn’t see this stream.
Thanks for letting me test it out on you two!
He looks miffed.
He didn’t want a grown up of any species telling him what he could or could not eat.
Pretty squirrel 🙂 The ones here in NE Tennessee are scrawny rat looking bird seed thief’s 😉
This one did look well fed and wasn’t particularly wary of people.
Waterproofing for the nest — a real treasure!
Perhaps. I hope it has found somewhere snow proof by now.
Hope the little creature found a nice treat in it.
Either ice cream or vanilla milk shake. I was a bit worried because it was clearly hooked.
Cute! ‘Where’d all those seeds go?’
He had a bit to learn. He bounced out into the path of a car but I managed to wave the driver down while he crossed.
Phew, good save!
Cute squirrel, I hope he found some food somewhere 🙂
He was not in the perfect place for a young squirrel, although if he liked blackberries and rose hips as much as human leftovers, there were plenty nearby.
This one ought to have been born in Blackpool.
