Beautiful! I just planted a couple of baby Hawthorne trees… hope they gt as large as the ones you photographed.
I hope so too. I suspect some of the trees in this area are quite old. They’re very atmospheric plants.
I’m glad you liked them, Sherry. I love this row of hawthorns. Some of the trunks are rippled with age.
I wish cold and beauty didn’t go together so wonderfully. Beautiful portraits! That middle one actually made me catch my breath.
I’m glad you liked that one. These trees often seem to grow fine when they fall, if they are permitted.
Great photos, blue sky with snow always looks lovely 🙂
It’s a treat to be able to take pictures in the snow and you’re right, the blue sky is a bonus.
Thank you so much for sharing these delights 💙💙💙
My pleasure.

Oh that sky
Very innocent looking, given all the snow it has been throwing our way.
Nice angles, trees, and snow. Winners.

Lovely compositions – worth having snow for
I still get excited when we get snow.

So pretty with the snow covered ground and blue sky 👌
I liked the stone at the base of the trunk. Perhaps the tree guarded a gateway once.
Nice captures, my favo is the second one.
Thanks very much.
Beautiful landscapes dusted with snow 🙂
I really like these particular trees but they look better in the snow.
