I’ve found myself in the middle of a series of posts about flowers that change colour as they open. Though I don’t have pictures to prove it, people who grow Rosa ‘Dream Come True’ say as the petals gradually redden, the yellow pales to creamy white.

This grandiflora has a classic form, its large, double flowers held on long stems like a cut rose. Blooms have a light, tea fragrance.
May your dreams come true! If you missed the earlier posts, you can check them out here:

Beautiful as is!
A blushing beauty.
So pretty!
I’m glad you liked it.
This rose you photographed is stunning 😀
Thanks, Cee.
In view of today’s election, I’m really hoping my dream comes true!
Well, good luck!
That’s a beautiful rose even if it doesn’t change color.
Yes, I’d agree. It’s very fresh at this stage.
Beautiful. It’s reminiscent of Rio Samba.
I don’t know that one, but looking online, it does seem similar.
I’ve posted photos of Rio Samba.
I remember it now!
There’s such an unreality to such a flower. Even when I can reach out and touch a rose like that, it doesn’t seem real. What a beauty.
It is an unusual colour combination, especially at this stage.
Lovely
Thanks, Derrick.
Stunning colours.
They’re very pure and fresh.
I have a small rose called “Coral Cove” that sports bright red buds touched with yellow. These open to the deepest coral and then slowly fade to a softer coral/pink. Watching this rose go through its many color changes is a joy!
There is something special about roses that change colours.
I can smell the wonderful fragrance wafting from these beauties…💛❤💛❤
You have a great imagination. 🙂
