I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a ceiling I wanted so badly. You can tell my tastes are simple.
Let’s say ‘refined’.
Wow! That’s amazing!
It would have been nice to have a zoom lens to catch more of the details.
Oh wow, that is gorgeous artwork!
It’s lovely to have the birds and stars mixed in too.
Exquisite!
If I lived there I would have a constant crick in my neck from too much looking up.
Where is this? So beautiful!!!
It is Bonnington House Ballroom at Jupiter Artland, near Edinburgh, Scotland.
I love this type of ceiling ❤
It’s beautifully done.
So true. And in the past without our modern tools. Such craftsmanship and ability ❤
It does looks like something old, but it was done by contemporary craftspeople.
Oh…how wonderful!!! What a joy to know this skill is alive and active.😊
Wow, masterful work!
I’d love to have that kind of talent.
Gorgeous..but does that require dusting? (Clearly..if you have to ask THAT- you can’t afford it-HA!)
You’d need a feather duster with a v-e-r-y long handle to do it.
HAHA!!!!
So intricate and beautiful!
I can’t imagine how long it must have taken.
So subtly beautiful.
I’m glad you liked it.
