I like the light on the flowers – they are so pretty!
The light gives the poppies an inner glow.
Oh they look beautiful 👌
Thanks, Kellie.
Oh, nice! Love ’em both.
These two were meant for each other. 🙂
Sure are!
Such a heavenly blue! I love Himalayan poppies.
A tiny bit of the sky, earth bound.
Very beautiful 💙💙💙
Thank you. I’ve never seen blue hearts before, I don’t think!
Ah…there are so many colours, for skies, rainbows and flowers ❤🧡💛💚🖤💙💜🤍🤎💖
Beautiful! I never knew poppies could be blue. I live in the California foothills, and poppies here are always in warm colors. And the glass! Oh, my! Positively inspirational for this fused glass hobbyist!
I’m glad you liked it. Blue poppies are always a surprise no matter how often you see them.
Blue poppies are magical. I’ve grown them on several occasions, but it’s hard to keep them going in less than ideal conditions. Those glass ones look similar enough to the real thing that I’m tempted to acquire some!
The art glass flowers would definitely make a splash!
Beautiful.
Thanks!
What a twosome! The photos, I mean. I love the play of light in both, and I especially love the way the light on the glass seems to mimic the variegated leaves nearby, and that splotch of white in the corner is brilliant. Not to mention the warm blur in the background of each. This was very good for my brain, and I thank you!
I wondered whether to crop out the white splotch flower, so I’m glad you liked it. The light does have a similar quality in both and the orange blur (art glass in one, primulas in the other) is almost eerie.
For a moment I thought the second one was also real!
Love the blue flowers definitely..strangely beautiful!
I know what you mean. There’s almost as much unreality about the real flowers as there is with the art glass.
A nice juxtaposition
Thanks, Derrick.
Lovely. Now that would defeat the S&S 😊
S&S?
Slugs and Snails 😂
Oh! And yes. You had me for a bit with that one.
