Love this. I’m always loving photos of roses, my favourite flower.
I love roses too.
So lovely and curled and on the verge of opening.
It’s amazing how big a rose can be and still be nobbut a bud, as they say round here.
What a charming saying!
I swear I can smell it!
I’m sure you can 🙂
Wordless indeed. When three roses conspire, what can we say? A lovely composition!
It’s a bit experimental. The colours are really nice together, I thought.
More experiments like that would be lovely!
Lovely
🙂
Never get tired of seeing rose petals. They are epitome´of classic beauty. So fragrant as well. In our garden we still have red-orange and deep red roses, still having some blooms. But my yellow ones did not do so well this year.
My R. ‘Phyllis Bide’ rambler was good early in the year, but I am not convinced it will repeat particularly well. There are a few little buds but nothing very exciting.
Such a beautiful flower!
It’s a lovely colour.

Thank you. 🙂
You’re very welcome 😊
Oh, that baby pink silkiness . . . just exquisite!
I think of these as Edinburgh Rock colours.
So a rose has hips and now a heart. Any other human parts?
Roots, though we keep ours on the other end.
Ruffled silk. Beautiful.
A great comparison.
beuatiful. this reminds me of what noor inayat khan said, “the heart must broken for the real to come forth.”
That in its turn reminds me of ‘there are tears waiting in the heart of some rose.’
