What a beautiful capture! Even the indistinct background is lovely.
The insects had a lot to choose from there.
Good one
Thanks, Derrick.
Beautiful image–I know how difficult it is to properly expose a shot of a Cabbage White butterfly, especially because they are in almost constant motion.
Being on top of tall verbena just adds to the sway too. I was thinking of the motion when I called it a funfair.
I had to use Google when I saw the word “funfair,” a word that we don’t use in American English. As best I can tell, it’s the rough equivalent to what we would call a traveling carnival.
Oh, beautiful and ethereal. Love the bokeh effect.
The background turned out well.
Beautiful.
Very lovely 💜💜💜
I’d rather see the Cabbage Whites on flowers than on my garden peas!
Hahaha! Definitely! 😊
Beautiful capture 😀
Thanks, Cee.
Just like mine!! Lovely background.
It was – and the same plant too!
Must be one of their favourites.
Perfect. ❤
A match made in heaven. 🙂
How delightful. I have had a lot of butterflies in my garden this year.
That’s good news. I don’t seem to have seen as many this year.

It shouts summer to me 🙂 🙂
Summer, with perhaps just a hint of autumn.
