Iris will always make me weak-kneed, and this one is no different. There is no end to their ruffles — and can’t you just hear “whee!” from every one of those droplets sliding down every one of those ruffles?
Quite right – it’s a funfair of a plant, so far as raindrops are concerned.
Utterly beautiful! As is so often the case, I’m with Oddment. Weak-kneed is a great description of how I feel about irises.
