Wonderful! They look as they though are stone guardians waiting to come to life.
That’s a good interpretation.
My mind turns to fancy whenever it can.
I marvel at how jarring such natural materials as stone and wood can be in a woodsy setting.
The art claims the eye more powerfully than the trees.
Now that is something I wouldn’t have thought of. I must think about it now.
Nice!
Thanks!
This place looks so soothing! Symbolism is beautiful here too. If we have a firm foundation – it’s hard to knock us off course! 🙂
Thank you for sharing this!
That’s a good thought.
I’m not sure about this one. Looks like the artist hadn’t put too much effort into this – grab a couple of random used beams and plonk a couple of stones on top. I like to see some creativity.
Some of the art I came in contact with in my youth was exceedingly minimalist… remember the pile of bricks there was such a fuss about? I quite like it being something the average gardener could attempt if they wanted.
I like it, but my first thought was that it would fail a risk assessment, lol!!!
Let’s hope it’s more firmly attached than it looks.
How beautiful. I always enjoy art that becomes part of nature’s art.
I like the way it suggests that stone is worthy of our attention.
They look like they might be talking to each other!
They do!
Hmm. Interesting. I like stone in the garden, not sure how I feel about the plinths.
This one has divided opinions, but it’s natural that we all have different tastes in art and accessories.
