What a commentary is here with the emphasis on the plant and the almost-afterthought of the gardener working in the hazy background. It’s the exact right perspective. I am totally enamored of that leaf at the top that can barely be seen because of its sideways position — it looks like just a little leaf wafer, but its contours hint of so much more. And the way light bounces off its tips — what a beauty!
