A trio of trios in shades of pink: flamingos, roses and hollyhock flowers.
Why do I get the feeling that, when it comes to flamingos, three can sometimes be a crowd?

I didn’t realize pink was part of the challenge. 😉
I just thought it would make it more fun – you went for a pink one too I see!
Such a nice collection. Did you ever make hollyhock dolls when you were little?
I look for the rabbit in larkspur flowers and I’ve made a lot of daisy chains in my youth but I hadn’t heard of hollyhock dolls. I can see from googling them that they’re very sweet. Thanks for teaching me a little more gardening lore – that’s always very welcome.
I didn’t think to Google them. I sorta thought we’d invented them. Ha. Must do so now.
we put a toothpick through the torso and stuck on arms as well…buds with full sleeves.
I suppose the double ones work best – I like how the green sepals make a bodice. I’m going to give it a try next time I find one growing wild or if I can cadge a flower from a friend. I haven’t grown them for many years – the last ones suffered terribly with rust.
Yes…I haven’t seen hollyhocks but once since I was a little girl.
I looked up larkspur flowers and think I see your rabbit! Did you read Nancy Drew? One of my favorites was, “The Secret of Larkspur Lane!”
I did – though that’s taken me back a bit!
Beautiful pink threes, Susan. Love the hollyhock image.
Thanks Jane.
Pretty in pink 🙂 Funny flamingos 😀
Whenever I catch sight of that picture, I always have to stop myself trying to work out which legs go with which bird.
Ha, I did the same!
Love the hollyhocks.
They’re one of my favourite flowers.
LOVE your pink collage! It made me happy and smile!
I can’t ask for more than that!
Love the birds!!!
Thanks Tina.
Beautiful pictures & the pinks are awesome, too! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
My pleasure!
A theme within a theme! Nicely done!
Color coded, too! Fantastic 😎
I always seem to take more pink shots – never quite sure why!
