Month of Squares: Renew and Burgeoning

Cylindrical rose bud

I’m just popping in to share a few pictures for May Squares.

Buds

Buds and fresh green leaves are to illustrate Renew and the young rose that’s midway through opening is Burgeoning.

Young rose

I have been watching from the edge of the Squares challenge this month but just had to squeeze in another post before it all wraps up. My battery is about to give up the ghost so I have to be swift!

  1. What beauties! That peachy-pink bud at the top is especially wonderful. Renew and burgeon indeed! I’m glad you popped in!

    1. I hoped you might like that one. It was not the classic shape – I can’t remember seeing another rosebud that was so cylindrical. I’m hoping to pop in more often (fingers crossed).

    1. You made me think of a Victorian comedian doing his act by waving flowers around, using the Language of Flowers… to stunned silence, no doubt.
