What fantastic textures you have come up with for us all to enjoy 😀
Another fun challenge. I am sure we’d not have nearly as much variety if you hadn’t stepped in.
So glad you like my challenges 😀
Wonderful!
Thanks, Lisa.
Excellent! Thanks for sharing these images.
My pleasure, Sam.
The feather and downpipe are my favourites Susan 🙂
I’ve been trying to remember what the drainpipe was one. An impressive old building, perhaps a music hall? I was clearly more interested in the paintwork than what might be going on there.
These are all so tactile, and visually effective. Texture? Sorted!
I always prefer the open challenges that give you lots of leeway. I was even wondering if it is possible to have a picture without any texture. That would be a challenge.
Now you’re talking. Anything by a Box Brownie??
Something very blurred, you mean?
😉
Great selection, Susan!
I’m glad you liked them.
Really terrific Susan, loved them all.
Thanks, Tina.
What an eye you have for the beauty in everything, even peeling paint! Wonderful selection.
I like peeling paint almost as much as flowers. 🙂
A splendid, varied, collection
Thanks, Derrick.
What a lovely collection you have!
I am having a visual treat!
My favorites-the cactus, peeling paint and the feather.
The paint ones are good examples because of all the different coloured layers.
Lovely!
Fabulous! That feather on the stalk is especially eye-catching. I also really like the top of the metal mushroom. For some reason it reminds me of the world.
I like that idea. It was a very desirable metal mushroom in amongst a Wizard of Oz garden.
The metal mushroom shows how textures alone make an interesting photo. A great collection Susan. Thank you.

Great topic, Jude. I was so pleased when I saw you would be hosting. I was thinking as I collected these that texture is almost the mark of any decent picture.
