I wish, although the house is a little exposed. It’s a favourite looking point, roughly on the way to the tower.
I always pause here as I pass to take in the view. You can often see wild deer in the field between the garden and the woods.
Perfect beauty, what a coincidence, I´ve got to see a rainbow yesterday too, but not with a lovely garden view as this!
I wonder if there’s a season for them? Each one would always seem unlikely no matter how often they appeared.
Thanks so much, Susan. I talked to him yesterday and he seems a lot better, and the family haven’t caught it so that’s great 😊💕
What a lovely view. As a flatlander, I’m always astonished by scenes like this — although we do get rainbows from time to time.
I’m astonished by flatness. It makes it harder to judge distance because I just can’t believe it can be flat for so long.
Holy cats, what a view! Did you burst into song as you took the picture? 😉
In my heart, I dare say! There was a kestrel hovering too, just out of shot over in the next field.
A gorgeous photo, I love it – and you got a rainbow too 🙂
That was a lucky twist.
Extra beautiful with the rainbow!
It seems there’s a pot of gold in the woods.
You got the same rainbow! Is this your garden? And view?

I know all about being exposed…
Oh wow. My heart just sighed looking at this beauty! ♥️ Perfect serenity!

This is a beautifully composed photograph of a special time in the changing of seasons.
Autumn’s early evenings seems even more special in retrospect once the clocks go back.

Very nice! Moody and great depth of field!
It’s always a good view from here.
Lovely!
Thanks, Ellen.
Lovely garden and lovely rainbow. What a nice view, Susan!
Would all indecision would be as colourful as this if we could see it?
So very beautiful! Wishing you a wonderful autumn, Susan.
Any news yet Jo? I’ve been thinking of you all.

That’s a relief.
