Most of my ‘art’ shots are happy accidents. I give myself some credit for spotting an interesting subject, and playing with light, but can’t claim to have a clue how the picture will turn out. Here light seems to have been trapped by the hairy geranium stems and, by a stroke of luck, tinted pink. A smattering of blue blur circles in the top left of the picture hint at a blue sky, although they might be flowers.
I’m sharing this as the perspective of a hare or other small creature for Becky’s SquarePerspectives and adding an almost identical portrait shot as an extra.

I like it! The colors are very pretty.
Thank you!
Very cool! I like it!
I would not have thought the stems were so hairy.
Exquisite!
Thanks, Laurie.
The square has certainly enhanced this
It’s a bit more cohesive cropped square.
Stunning
Another one that had been waiting for a prompt 🙂
Very pretty colours, I like it 🙂
The stems are as pretty as a flower in this light.
Very arty! Well captured.
I have learned to take the odd shot when the light seems impossible just to see what happens. More often than not it was impossible, but the odd one like this is quite interesting.
Nice!
Thanks, David.
What an extraordinary effect! I do like the notion of the trapped light, and I congratulate you on this capture — it is a beauty!
One of nature’s many curiosities.
Wow, good eye – love that bright pink!
The pink seems something of a miracle.
Lovely colour and detail! 🙂
All it needed was a harvest mouse clinging to one of the stalks.
Oh didn’t you do well! Love the light! I’d say you have a great eye 🙂
You’re very kind. 🙂 Unusually, I can’t remember taking this one.
