Beautiful colors!
It’s an unusual combination, given we have relatively few brown flowers.

I seem to have seen this iris in several gardens recently. It’s an easy one to remember!

It seemed to be glowing in the sun.
Now this is a colour I could live with!
I have two shots, one in full sunshine and the other with a bit more context and cloud. I was planning to post them both but they looked like completely different flowers, one golden looking, the other brown. They both looked nice to me – this one was more splendid and the other more sober.
How elegant!
Some flowers have a regal air, and this is one.
Great floral composition!
There was a small queue to photograph this one and it’s easy to see why.

A brown and yellow zap. It reminds me of my old Brownie uniform.
