Excellent pictures (In the 1970s I lived in Soho’s Chinatown)
I imagine that would have been fun. This was taken in Chinatown, Manchester a few years ago.
It took me a bit of staring before I could say GOOD GRACIOUS, THERE’S SOMEONE UNDER THAT! I don’t doubt the poor fellow needed a drink! Wonderful photos!
These are ones I had been saving for the weekly photo challenge. I was sure one of the prompts would eventually be perfect – ‘refresh’ for example.

I think this one is a lion. The costumes are quite heavy and the dance is dynamic.
