That is lovely – I’m really taken with that. Would love it in my summerhouse! Where did you find it? Lovely colour wood in the background.
It was in the garden of Lucinda Hutson, a cookbook and lifestyle writer. Her house is painted this wonderful purple colour.
Is it Mexican? It’s lovely!
You might well be right – Lucinda has travelled widely in Mexico, so it could be something she picked up there.
That’s pretty special. Reminds me a little of the insignias of my ancestors, who were involved in the War of the Roses.
I don’t think the flowers are roses as they are usually drawn with five petals, but I know what you mean. I’m from Lancashire myself – the red rose side.
I love the little birds too.
A pottery wreath? Excellent! Indeed those little birds are captivating, but I also am drawn to what looks like a circlet of rosebuds in the center. Very nice indeed.
I wasn’t sure what the round things were – buds would be one option, or perhaps seed heads. I liked the way it was put together with little wires to give a 3D effect.
A very creative someone made this. So unique and lovely.
I thought so too.
Exquisite. Did you make it?
Beautiful – Surprisingly reminds me of the sea though no sea shells on this 🙂 Perhaps the blue background …
