Wow. I love this!
It’s part of a larger design celebrating the four seasons.
Clever!
Yes, it’s nicely done.
I’d like to see it from another angle too 🤗💗
I should have taken pictures of the flower and the tortoise’s face in retrospect, but I seem to remember being slightly out of bounds, so did not linger.
Oops!
Needs must
😂💗
Not a clue who Frank Fleming is/was but I love this, although like Jo I’d like to see it from the other side 🙂
It gets even worse – there are three other parts to the design, one for each season. Consider this a teaser, though I’ll have to go back to get more!
Frank Fleming’s sculptures are wonderful. Thanks for posting this one.
My pleasure.
It looks like the hare took Simon and Garfunkel’s advice to “slow down, you move too fast.”
Or they have formed some kind of pact – we’ll both share the glory!
Wonderful fountain.
Thank you
This really happened in my universe. I was driving down my driveway when a rabbit and a turtle crossed the drive in front of our car. My children were small. We sat and watched them cross. J and A claimed they were racing. Ha. You know who got across last. Sweet moments with children!
What a wonderful memory you’ve shared.
A cool fountain. Tortoise & Hare a perfect pair.
The tortoise seems quite surprised, even seen from behind 🙂
That rabbit has attitude (rabbitude?) and reminds me of the garden marauders here. Being part turtle myself, I feel sorry for this one, but of course we all know who wins in the end. I do love fountains, though. It looks like a flower sculpture on the other side — is that part of the whole thing? There’s what looks like a very gracefully sculpted stem and leaf extending over the pool. Nice.
Yes, the flower is part of the design. Rabbitude? The mere idea is hair-raising (or should that be hare-raising?)

To quote you: groan.
Then I think the correct response is thank you.
