We aren’t even CLOSE to having roses in bloom here! Yours are so pretty!
I have taken quite a few pictures of roses already this year. Mum mentioned that her Harlow Carrs have started blooming. That seems a few weeks early for Lancashire.
And what a pretty rose too.
I think it may be an old rose, but I’m not sure which one.
It looks as though he fell asleep upside-down and happy. What a beautiful pink! And I do not miss the buds — they know their worth!
It does, but she’s likely to be a lady. I don’t believe male bees gather pollen. I thought you might admire the photobombing buds. As usual I have been trying to get photogenic pictures of them – and failing!
I did not know that about bees! I think those buds are very photogenic, and I also think they would agree!
Happy bee, lovely rose!
Eliza pointed out that it is World Bee Day today. I was a couple of days early.
Better than a couple of days late!
I love a fuzzy bee 🐝
It’s World Bee Day today, so the perfect time to celebrate!
I always forget World Bee Day. Bees need our help so I make every fay WBD

The bee was obligingly still.
