Flowers often seem to be holding out their arms to the sunlight, or offering landing strips for pollinators, but these are particularly graceful ones.

I never realized silene had those little stripes in the middle of the petals. There’s no such thing as a “simple” flower.
I haven’t seen striped ones before either. I’ve been trying to make out the cultivar name on the plant label, but the best part of it has faded or been washed away.
