Simple flower posy

Wildeve rose flower posyWriting my last post about my earliest experiences of the new cut garden roses, bred for floristry reminded me to share this picture too. It’s of one of my favourite English roses,’Wildeve’, used to create a simple summer flower posy with a few other flowers snipped from the garden. ‘Wildeve’ isn’t a florist’s rose, so just lasts a few days when cut, but it’s got plenty of soul while it lasts.
